Sebastian traveled to Cape Town to meet with Frank Brombacher and Reto Guler at the University of Cape Town to discuss a recent funded project that deals with host microRNAs as potential drug targets against tuberculosis. It was a fruitful workshop that built the foundation for the project and the tasks involved. Sebastian also gave an invited talk at the Institute of Infectious Disease and Molecular Medicine on November 5th, 2014.
